FAQs
Why is the MacBook Air better than the MacBook Pro?
The main reasons why someone would choose a MacBook Air over a MacBook Pro are that it’s lighter, easier to carry, quieter to operate and has a lower price. The MacBook Air is thinner and lighter than the MacBook Pro. This makes it easier to carry in a business backpack, casual backpack, business laptop bag or messenger bag. Its fanless design allows it to run completely silent, while the MacBook Pro has active fan cooling that can make noise. The Air’s M-Series chips have more than enough power to handle daily, professional, and some creative projects with ease. For many people, the MacBook Air’s price offers more value than the MacBook Pro. The MacBook Pro is better suited for people who handle heavy workloads regularly and need the extra computing power.
How much storage do I need on a MacBook Air?
Our selection of MacBook Air laptops comes with 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of storage. For some users, 512 GB is considered a sweet spot if you plan to keep your MacBook Air for a long time. 256 GB is sufficient for most basic use, but it can fill up quickly. If you deal with larger files and heavier workloads, then you might consider a MacBook Air with 1 TB of storage. If you’re thinking about RAM, we have models with 16 GB and 24 GB of memory. 16 GB of RAM is enough to cover most people’s daily workload. 24 GB should be considered if you use more demanding programs or tasks.
