Choose your order and click “Return Order” to initiate a return. Order status and product type may affect return eligibility.

You will receive an email outlining the return instructions for your product.


1. Log into your Staples account

To return an item online, you must have a Staples account to access our self-serve returns service. Get started by logging into your Staples account to view your recent orders in your Order history. Click on ‘View All Orders’ if you are unable to find the order you wish to return.

2. Select an order to start a return

Choose your order and ensure it is eligible for return - orders that are cancelled or still in processing may not be eligible for return. Click on ‘Return Order’ to initiate the return.

3. Select items to return

Select the item(s) you wish to return by clicking the box around the item. Once you’ve selected the item(s), choose a reason for your return then click ‘Continue’ to proceed to submitting your return.

Cancelled items and certain products or items past return periods will not be eligible for return.

4. Follow the instructions

After you submit your return, you will see a summary of your return and receive an email outlining the return instructions for your product.
