How to choose a backpack?
When choosing a new backpack some of the main areas you should consider include fit, storage capacity and the kind of materials it’s made of. For fit, look for a backpack with padded shoulder straps as well as a padded back panel to help with lumbar support. Look for a backpack that best fits the length of your torso for a more comfortable fit. Check the storage compartments it has so that it can carry all your belongings easily. If you carry a Windows laptop or MacBook, look for a padded laptop sleeve inside. If you have a water bottle, look for a side pocket that can hold it. Lastly, if you plan to use your backpack daily, make sure it’s made from a water-resistant material. Our selection of backpacks includes business backpacks, student backpacks and casual backpacks.
How to wash a backpack?
If you want to wash a backpack, make sure to remove all your belongings from inside. Use a mild detergent to clean stains either by hand washing or by using a gentle cold washing cycle on your washing machine. When you’re finished washing your backpack, it’s best to let it air dry rather than putting it in a dryer. We have the cleaning supplies to handle stains like sponges, cleaning gloves, spray bottles and all-purpose cleaners.
Does a backpack count as a personal item?
Yes, a backpack counts as a personal item when you’re flying. But it must be able to fit under the seat in front of you, not just the overhead bin. If your backpack is not able to fit under the seat in front of you it can be considered as carry-on luggage. Before your reach the airport for your flight, it’s always best to check your airline’s size requirements for bags and luggage.
What’s the difference between casual backpacks, business backpacks and travel backpacks?
Casual backpacks are designed to be great all-around options for daily use. They can be used for school, work, or light travelling. They usually have multiple storage pockets sometimes have a sleeve for laptops or tablets. Business backpacks offer a sleeker, professional design than casual backpacks. They offer more storage options for documents and padded pockets for laptops and tablets. They can offer padded straps for comfort while commuting as well as a padded back panel. A travel backpack can include features such as an RFID pocket for added security, multiple storage compartments, expansion zippers, garment straps or clamshell openings. They can double as a carry-on bag for short trips.
