FAQs
What is a sheet protector?
A sheet protector, or a page protector, is a clear plastic sleeve that’s used to store and protect documents, forms and important sheets of paper. It is usually pre-punched for three-ring binders and lets you view and hold papers without risking tears, smudges or spills damaging them. Sheet protectors are made from acid-free material, so the ink won’t lift off the page when it’s placed inside.
What kinds of sheet protectors are there?
There are multiple kinds of sheet protectors available depending on what you want to protect. If you’re working with reports or large documents there are multi-page capacity sheet protectors. If you want to safely store business cards, there are business card holder pages. If you collect sports cards or trading cards as a hobby, there are trading card pages to protect them. If you’re a photographer and you want to store your favourite photos, there are photo page sheet protectors that will help keep dirt and dust away.
What are binder pockets used for?
Binder pockets are multi-use plastic or poly inserts used to store loose, unpunched documents, small supplies or odd-sized items in ring binders. They can help you organize schoolwork, office paperwork, receipts, household documents and more without needing to use a hole punch. They come in different sizes and can hold items like pens, pencils, highlighters, sticky notes and USB drives.
How to reinforce paper holes?
To reinforce paper holes for your documents, you can use self-adhesive reinforcement stickers and place them over the existing punched holes. They can also be used to fix punched holes if they’ve been torn or damaged. Alternatively, you can use tape to reinforce paper holes if you’re punching them yourself. Apply a strip of clear tape along the edge of the paper before using your hole punch to create new holes.
