TechNiche COOL PAX Insert Set for the 6626 Phase Change Cooling Vest includes four (4) high strength polyurethane COOL PAX Inserts that maintain a steady 14 C (58 F) regardless of ambient temperatures. These Inserts are a safe, effective and comfortable method of cooling the body when evaporative cooling is not an option. COOL PAX Inserts can be re-charged in as little as 25 minutes simply by placing in a fridge, freezer, ice water or any environment that is below 14 C (58 F). Cooling duration will typically be between 2-3 hours depending on conditions. Having an extra set of packs allows the user to keep one set charged while one set is in use. Total weight of four COOL PAX Inserts is 2.2 kg (5 lbs.).
