Ball transfers can be installed on work tables or used to construct transfer plates to change the direction of objects. Takes the strain out of turning heavy items to position them for operations such as punching or shearing and increases efficiency dramatically. Ball transfer units are available with the highest quality plated carbon steel or stainless steel component. This design enables the ball to rotate freely instantaneously in any direction, allowing extremely heavy loads to be moved almost effortlessly. Objects handled must be smooth and hard-surfaced. Carbon steel balls are good for general use. Non-marking nylon balls are also available. Note: To determine ball transfer capacity, the weight of the item to be conveyed should be divided by 3. The result is the maximum capacity for any single ball transfer.
