Product Details

Performance grinding and cutting in soft metals. These wheels grind all types of aluminum and non-ferrous metals smoothly and at removal rates never thought possible. The specially impregnated bonding of these wheels resists loading even when grinding very soft, pure aluminum. They do not contain any waxes or lubricants and do not contaminate the material worked on - ground surfaces are therefore clean and ready for welding without further clean-up. 1/8" Thick: Formulated for cutting but may also be used for intermittent light grinding; fast and free cutting. 1/4" Thick: Fast removal rate and long wheel life; no clogging in any type of aluminum ; Typical Applications. Metal fabrication. Petrochemical maintenance. All-weld grinding. Shipbuilding. Foundry -notching and removing gates and risers. Pipeline -root pass grinding, pipe bevelling and repair. Construction -masonry/concrete fabrication.
