When you do need to open this portfolio, this can be done easily by lifting the vflap upward and over the back. The elastic closure consists of a strand of black elastic string that is attached to the back of the case near the top and in the middle. The two free loops of this string wrap around the two top corners of the case in the front to keep it securely closed.
