How can I track the status of my package?

Staples will provide you with a tracking number so you can easily track the status of your packages – from your desktop, laptop or mobile device.

How do I return a shipment that was delivered by FedEx or Purolator?

You can drop off pre-labelled return shipments at any Staples location across Canada. If you already have a return label, bring it with you, or create and print a shipping label online using your credit card or account prior to arriving at the store.

Do I have to pay a fee or surcharge when I drop-off or pick-up my packages at Staples?

There is no fee or surcharge for dropping off or redirecting your packages for pick-up at Staples.

Do you provide packaging and shipping supplies?

Yes, FedEx and Purolator branded packaging is available at no extra charge for Express shipments. We also have a variety of other packaging solutions available for purchase at every Staples location across Canada. From bubble mailers and wrap, to boxes of various sizes – we have many options available.

How large/heavy can a courier shipment be?


FedEx Express & FedEx Ground Canada/ International:

Maximum weight of a parcel: 55 lbs / 25 kg

Purolator Express, within Canada:

Can I ship or drop off items identified as dangerous goods at a Staples location?

Staples locations do not accept dangerous goods. To ship these items, please visit a FedEx or Purolator Ship Centre.

What can’t I ship?

What is required to pick up my FedEx package?

You will need to bring a government-issued photo identification that includes the recipient’s address along with your FedEx® tracking number. For details, please visit fedex.ca/ID.

How long will you hold my FedEx packages for pickup?
