Product Details

The Kidde p9050CA is a 9V battery operated, single station smoke alarm. This smoke alarm uses photoelectric sensing technology. Photoelectric sensing alarms may detect visible fire particles (associated with slow smouldering fires) sooner than ionization alarms

  • 9V Battery Operated - No wiring required. Provides continuous protection even during power outages. Battery included
  • Hush Button - Temporarily silences nuisance alarms for approximately 8 minutes (smoke must be present before Hush is activated)
  • Test Button - Simultaneously tests the unit's electronic circuitry, horn, and battery function
  • Tamper Resist Feature - Tamper resist locking pin deters from tampering or theft
  • Photoelectric Technology - may detect visible particles (associated with smoldering fires) sooner than ionization alarms
  • Easy-to-see, red LED flashes every 30 to 40 seconds to indicate that power is flowing to the unit and a chirp will sound if the battery is running low
