If you and your family are fans of the outdoors, you may want to organize a camping trip this summer. But before you sleep under the stars, there are a few things you should make sure you pack. Here are some items that will make your summer camping adventure one to remember.
Sleeping Bag Onesie
Of course, a sleeping bag is a camping staple. But a sleeping bag onesie can be even more comfortable, especially when you need to walk around the campsite and stay warm. During the early morning hours, it can be a little cool outside, and a sleeping bag you can move in keeps you cozy as you enjoy breakfast. The sleeping bag onesie is also beneficial for summer nights around the campfire, and the insulation makes for a comfortable sleep whether you're in a tent or braving it outdoors.
Charger/Camp Stove Combo
A small camp stove definitely comes in handy when you want to prepare tasty and healthy treats during your camping trip. You can warm your tea or coffee for an early morning boost, or make roasted marshmallows for a tasty dessert of S'mores. The stove also acts as a charger, so you can keep your tablet and cell phones functional. Even though you're braving the outdoors, you may still want to watch a movie on your tablet or have your phone on hand in case there's an emergency.
Pocket Shower
Even though you may be a fan of camping, taking a bath in the nearest river may not seem very appealing. After all, the water may not be the cleanest, and it can be unclear which creatures are lurking underneath the water's surface. A pocket shower is a great way to stay clean and safe while you're camping. Tie the bag to a tree branch, and allow the water to warm up for a few minutes in the waterproof bag. You can shower for up to eight minutes using the device.
Inflatable Tent
Technically, a tent that is inflatable isn't a necessity, but it sure can make your camping trip a lot easier. These tents come in all sizes, and will save you the time of having to pitch a tent the traditional way. You also won't have to worry about the hassle of taking the tent down when your camping trip is over. Several of these tents are very comfortable and make for a great night's sleep, especially when you've got a sleeping bag onesie on hand.
Solar Fire Starter
If you forget the matches, or if you have matches and they're not working fast enough, a solar fire starter is a great option. Simply hold the small dish in the direction of the sun, so that the solar power will heat up the dish and start a fire. This is necessary for cooking, and helps to start the campfire that will keep you and your loved ones warm and cozy during your time outdoors.
These are just some of the necessary supplies that will make your camping trip worthwhile. Of course, some additional outfits, ample food and some battery-powered flashlights should be included on your packing list as well. Have fun!
