Staples Makes Recycling Easy

 

For Staples Canada, being environmentally responsible is about more than carrying eco-friendly products. From procurement to store design to recycling programs for consumers, the company has made it its mission to promote good environmental practices on all fronts.

While the retailer has always been a champion of sustainable pracitces, the biggest leap was in 2009 when it formed its Easy on the Planet Commitee, says Leigh Pearson, director, environment and facilities, for Staples Canada and co-chair of the committee.
