We reach out to communities where our customers and associates live and work. Through our corporate giving program, we build alliances with international charitable organizations, develop cause marketing initiatives and fundraising campaigns, and support local communities with corporate donations. Staples® is a proud supporter of programs and initiatives that encourage education, build entrepreneurship and preserve the environment.
Our Mission is to establish Staples Canada as a socially responsible employer and retailer of choice by creating a responsible corporate environment in which associates, employees and customers are equally committed to supporting, enhancing and sustaining our communities.
Our Vision is to improve the quality of life in Canadian communities by continuously investing in sustainability and being socially responsible in every aspect of our business.
We're helping to endorse the value of education in our communities across Canada with corporate programs such as the Staples School Supply Drive which donates products to local schools.
Staples helps schools:
Staples Canada is proud to support education by helping schools and charities in Canada through programs such as our School Supply Drive and our Recycle for Education Computer Lab Contest. Over the years, the supply drive has generated over $5-million dollars for schools, non-profit organizations and community groups.
Staples Canada is for Students
The annual Staples School Supply Drive is back. Visit any Staples Canada location from July 27 until September 9 and help give back to students in need.
How the program works:
Each store collects financial donations for the local charity of their choice and donations are then distributed within the immediate community surrounding that store. Every year, the School Supply Drive helps thousands of Canadian students in need.
Club des petits déjeuners du Québec
Staples Canada/ Bureau en Gros is a proud supporter of Club des petits déjeuners du Québec. Together with our customers, Staples Canada/ Bureau en Gros holds a fundraising campaign in support of the program to help provide a nutritional breakfast for students in Quebec. This year, the campaign will be held from July 29, 2013 to September 2, 2013.
Your help is greatly appreciated!

Entrepreneurial spirit is an important part of our business culture. We are proud to support many new business and entrepreneurial organizations that share a passion for building and cultivating entrepreneurship in Canada.
Supporting Canadian businesses, we continually sponsor business and entrepreneurial conferences and events. In 2012, we lent our support to the Women in Biz Network, a national organization dedicated to professional development & entrepreneurism for women, and FP REACH 2013 which brings together successful entrepreneurs and experts in media, marketing, social media, and communications to help businesses overcome marketing and branding challenges.
With our focus on stretching relationships in the communities where we live and work, many of our Staples Canada stores are closely involved with their local Chambers of Commerce and business associations to support and foster the success of small businesses in Canada.
